Cotton Room Durham Wedding / Stephanie + Chris Wedding
Wow, wow, wow! Literally the only words that kept coming out of my mouth all day during this gorgeous wedding. Rob and I made our way to Durham for Stephanie and Chris’s wedding at The Cotton Room. This venue had the most amazing light pouring through the floor to ceiling windows and is the perfect spot for a couple to say I do! You will see what I’m talking about when you scroll down, but wow!!!
Stephanie and Chris’s wedding was quite simply one of the smoothest weddings we have EVER shot! WHY?? Y’all when we say we recommend a first look…… WE RECOMMEND A FIRST LOOK! I get it, I am from the south and understand why you wouldn’t want to have one…the look when you walk down the aisle! But when you see the photos below, you will understand why it made this day the most smoothest wedding day ever, plus Stephanie and Chris now have a ton of portraits because of it! We were able to photograph the first look, full bridal party, and family portraits all before the ceremony! So everyone was able to go straight to cocktail hour and enjoy themselves rather than sit through pictures waiting for their drinks and apps. All the praise hands! Also those twirls and spinning, Chris looking at his soon to be bride… I CAN’T HANDLE IT!! He was able to see her… just her, walking towards him. He was able to grab her hand, kiss her, spin her, hug her, tell her how beautiful she looked and talk to her!! It brings the nerves down and its the most romantic moment during the whole day. Okay, Im done with that… if you are trying to decide on to have a first look or not…. keep scrolling! 🙂
Stephanie’s lace dress fit her perfectly and paired so well with all the mauve colored florals and bridesmaid dresses! Everything was perfection and this sweet couple could not have had a more beautiful day!

What a gorgeous couple& most beautiful wedding! Stunning photography and amazing venue. Looking at this montage of pictures made me feel like l experienced the wedding in person!
